The accommodation at Pepper Cottage is all on one level, with laminate floors, tasteful furnishings and complete with a cosy open fire to gather round on the chilly winter evenings.
A very attractive natural garden with lawned areas surrounds the cottage and for the summer days guests can sit out and enjoy the view from the sunny south facing terrace which catches the sun from morning until dusk.
It goes without saying that walking opportunities are in abundance straight from the door, whether it be a short and leisurely stroll or a more taxing fell walk. Tarn Hows, a local beauty spot can be reached on foot and guests may be tempted to stop a while at the famous Drunken Duck Public House, serving delicious food and local ales which is en-route.
From this wonderful countryside location it is hard to imagine that the central villages such as Ambleside and Hawkshead are only a short and very scenic drive away, offering a rich variety of shops, restaurants and activities for all the family. Close by is the beautiful Grizedale Forest with its very popular attraction - Go Ape! The Go Ape course provides a dramatic tree top adventure with Rope bridges, a Tarzan swing and zip slides stretching through the forest up to 60 feet above the forest floor.
